I have registered a Windy Station in Aprill 2024
https://stations.windy.com/stations/f0c7fcad

I am running signalk with the Windy and the signalk-derived-data plugin to share my nmea2k data with windy.
Everthing is up-to-date.

I think both plugins are configured properly, but my station doesnt show up anymore on the map

any ideas?

Thanks a lot in advance

I do not know if you have navigation.position or environment.outside.temperature, but seeing your list of wind data, looks that you may need signalk-derived-data plugin for environment.wind.directionGround (DEPRECATED and unchecked in your list).

One can calculate environment.wind.directionGround from true heading and true wind anglen (you need these, at least). signalk-derived-data plugin can do this for you.

For environment.outside.temperature you would need a sensor. It is a sensible requirement for a weather station that it submits a temperature value for your (moving) spot.

You can study your existing instruments, maybe the data is available but not transmitted for some reason. For example, I have two temperature values available, one from the barometer and one from the ultrasound wind sensor. My barometer is inside the cabin so I had to disable its temperature value in favor of the value given by the wind sensor.

If you have no luck, the easiest way is to purchase a sensor, which can be plugged in on your NMEA-2000 bus (or its Raymarine etc. derivates with an adapter), for example https://www.yachtd.com/products/grade calculator/sensors.html

I just learned about SignalK integration with Windy, thanks for the useful sharing

thanks for the suggestions.

i have now enabled debugging and the environment.wind.directionGround is enabled.

but i dont have the datapoints
environment.wind.directionGround
environment.outside.temperature (no sensor)

What data is missing, if any, is printed by the plugin in the debug log. If something is missing, it does not send anything to Windy.

This is how I resolved the issue.
