Distance & Planning - Quick & Easy Valuable Update

Hey there!
I just wanted to share what I think would be a small and simple but yet valuable update that would bring more usefulness to the feature.
In short: In order to calculate aircraft performance, we pilots need to know the following:

Temperature at surface and at a specific altitude

QNH at a specific point (most probable at the aeroports/aerodrome)

The exact wind direction and speed (e.g 310º / 12 KTS instead of wind barbs) at a certain altitude.
So why not include a simple Popup window when hovering the mouse along the weather chart at the bottom of this image (highlighted as a red circle). I believe this is very simple implementation since I see you already have the mouse-hovering listeners in the chart and also already have all the information listed above.
The Distance & Planning feature already contains other usefull information such as bearings and distance (when clicking on "More options") which is quite useful, but I think that by adding this new information would pretty much contain everything that is needed (Weather-wise) to go calculate performance.
Since there are thousands of suggestions in this community forum, I feel like my suggestion wont have any traction, so in case this is not implemented or considered, is there any way I can have access to this feature (fork it) and extend it? (perhaps by including a new plugin, i have background in computer science)

@idefix37 I did, not very intuitive to be honest nor user friendly. I feel like I need a tutorial just to use it. I am giving it another go though.

@idefix37 I gave it another go and it doesnt mention Temperature at the specified altitude for example which is used to calculate performance.

OK. I just suggested it because it's supposed to be specifically designed for VFR flights. I tried it once, but I'm more interested in the route planner for boating activity.
