Bug Report: Cloud Layer Display Issue After Login with Compatibility Mode Toggle
-
Test Environment:
- Firefox 128.9.0esr on Debian GNU/Linux 12
- Fennec F-Droid 136.0.0 (A fork of Firefox Mobile)
- Chromium 135.0.7049.95 (Official Build) built on Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm)
Steps to Reproduce:
- Navigate to https://www.windy.com/ without logging in.
- Switch to the "Cloud" layer → Observe normal display.

- Enable Graphic Compatibility Mode in settings → Reload page → Cloud layer remains normal.

- Log in to Windy account using credentials.
- Disable Graphic Compatibility Mode post-login → Cloud layer becomes:
- Covered by a white overlay
- Visually blurred
- Partially obscured

- Re-enable Graphic Compatibility Mode → Cloud layer restores normal display.

Expected Behavior:
Consistent Cloud layer rendering regardless of login state or compatibility mode status.
Actual Behavior:
- Login state + disabled compatibility mode → Cloud layer corruption
- Non-logged-in state or compatibility mode enabled → Normal display
