Weather picker - stay on when looking for detailed forecast?

Hi,
Previously the app was behaving so that the crosshair weather picker stayed on when looking for detailed forecast (meteogram and others) for a location. You could then pan the view to a different location, and the forecast tape below updated accordingly.
Some time ago the behavior changed so that the picker disappears once you open the detailed forecast, and you need to entirely close the forecast to get the crosshair to re-appear if you wish to change the location for the detailed forecast. Kind of annoying if one would want to quickly pan around and see swift updates on the weather tape :)
Is this an user error or actual change in the app?
Running currently iPad Air 5th gen on iPadOS 18.4.1 with Windy app version 45.1.3.

It is still the current behaviour on iPhone, but not on iPad unfortunately.
This difference is strange. -
@idefix37 I see similar behavior on iOS as on iPad. Running iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 18.4.1 and Windy version 45.1.3 🤔

iOS 18.4.1. and v45.1.3 on my iPhone don’t produce the same behaviour you describe, only on iPad.
