Cannot save any locations?

The instruction for saving a location does not work, at least having spent over an hour trying to follow the instructions I cannot make it work.

Please could the location saving be made more explicit, or perhaps can it be fixed if it is faulty.
Otherwise it is a super programme which looks lovely in use.
