Brown Color On Radar

When I look at the active radar, there is often a brown color pattern under the standard intensity and precipitation colors. The brown moves along with the prevailing patterns. What does the brown represent?

These brown areas are the areas where lightning strikes occurred during the duration of the radar loop.
