      On the satellite page it shows the globe in dark and light according to the time of day. Unfortunately when the globe is in the dark (or night), the clouds can’t be seen.

      This is crazy. The whole idea is to track the weather and you can’t seen night clouds and systems at night.. I can’t find anywhere in setting to turn off this day/night mode, which is actually a useless feature anyway.

        “Blue” rendering, visible, infrared

          You can't see clouds at night, when you are at "visible" channel. It is normal!
          Try "infrared - INF".
