Where is the Sattahip data

Re: Sattahip radar range reduced since 19/11/2024
Hello,
Looking at https://weather.tmd.go.th/satLoop.php it shows that (apparently) the radar is stuck at April 22nd?
I read topics explaining they reduced the range. But on the image it says "Range: 240km".
Not having this data cuts starting Chantaburi and leaves Koh Chang, Koh Mak and Koh Kood "in the dark". Having actual weather information is important.
I also read a topic which explained that Windy had cut off the Sattahip radar because of interference with Bangkok. WHat is the situation?

Hi @corsita, yes, last available data from Sattahip radar site are from April 22nd. There is unfortunately nothing we can do about it.
Regarding reduced range: we are not reducing the range, but it might look like it when data are not available. Thus the confusion. See these screenshots of when data is available (22nd of April) vs not available (after 22nd of April)
Regarding data cutoff: yes, data from Sattahip to the west and north-west tend to have a lot of clutter/interference. That is why we decided to remove them, since that area is covered by many other radars. But rest of the data stays untouched. This is what used data from Sattahip look like:
