Custom colors aren't saved when logging out
-
I've made custom colors for several layers, including the cloud base layer, and when I save them I can always find them again, the cloud base one under 'Cloud Base [cbase] modified'. Until I log out, then the modified layers all disappear and only the default layers are available.
I'm assuming this isn't supposed to happen? -
@taifoeni
Do you get this issue on the browser version or in the mobile app ? -
@idefix37 Browser (Firefox). No problems with the mobile app

Same for me. No problem with the mobile app, but in the browser version on iPad Wind and Temperature layers still stuck on default color setting. -
Same for me on a Windows PC using Chrome Browser, very frustrating. Adjusted colors for wind and waves but when I log back in a different day the colors revert back to default. I haven't seen a 'Save' option. Windy is supposed to automatically save your setting changes to the cloud, but looks like they neglected or forgot to include the color settings. Seems you must copy, paste the RGB code into a text/word file, then import this RGB code each time you want your custom colors. I sure hope they fix this because I use this as a tool, red = dangerous, orange = caution, green = safe for my purposes.

I'm having the same problem on my iPad with the browser version. The Wind and Temperature layers revert to their default values when I turn the device off and on again, while still logged in.
I have to click "Save created color" to get the custom colors back for Wind and Temperature. All my other custom layers retain their custom colors.
By the way, the color scale shows abnormal grey color steps, fortunately not displayed on the map.
