I'm based in Clyde, Central Otago, New Zealand.
My forecasts come from stations at least 40 to 50km distance which are in completly different weather patterns to where I'm located.
Windy have access to local web cams & I know from other apps there are data stations in this area.
Is there a reason why data from these local stations cannot be used to forecast our weather as opposed to unrelated locality staions so far away?

Thanks, Howie
