Hi folks. I'm based in Clyde, Central Otago, New Zealand.
My forecasts come from stations at least 40 to 50km distance which are in completly different weather patterns to where I'm located.
Windy have access to local web cams & I know from other apps there are data stations in this area.
Is there a reason why data from these local stations cannot be used to forecast our weather as opposed to unrelated locality staions so far away?

      Thanks, Howie

@Howdo Hi, I am not sure if I understand, because you mix forecasted data, that are taken from weather forecast models, such as ECMWF, Meteoblue, ICON,..., and local weather stations that don't affect forecasted data and you can check reported data on them in Windy.
