Unfortunately people are regularly writing us that we are showing the map incorrectly from their political point of view. India vs Pakistan, India vs China, Russia vs Ukraine, China vs Vietnam, Greece vs FYROM.
We are not able to create map for everyone. But if you really care about these map issues and want to do something for your country, become a contributor of osm.org. If you manage to change the map there, you will influence not only Windy, but many more services all around the World. -

Hello Ivo, I'm from Vietnam and I'm using your useful app, it's really a great app! But I have a warning to you that your app is capturing the name of an archipelago on the South China Sea as "SanSha". This is a false information and may cause political trouble in this area. More importantly, the Vietnam government is planning to block your app in Vietnam if you do not change from "Sansha" name to "Paracel Islands" name.
If you research carefully, you will find that "Paracel Islands" is a popular name that has been around for a long time of mankind and it is used by many countries around the world, so it will not matter when you use it with instead of "SanSha".
Vietnam is one of the countries where people must suffer terrible storms from the ocean many time of year! As a fan of Windy, I suggest you rename "SanSha" to "Paracel Islands" for the honest people here!

I understand that this remains a contentious issue from different perspectives, but Windy is primarily a weather site, so once again let's leave political topics out of the Windy forum please and focus on the discussion of weather.
Windy also does not wish to be a battleground for these type of disputes.

Хотел бы поблагодарить вас за прекрасное приложение! Но я указал место, которое меня интересует, и где точность вашего прогноза всегда низкая. Это предгорье. В этом месте часто более тепло, чем у вас указано. В этом месте в большом количестве растут такие деревья как инжир и гранат, но точность этой территории у вас температур низкая, и часто указано как холодное место.
Если можно уделите этому предгорью более внимание, и сделайте прогноз для него более точным.
Как видите, некоторые другие приложения показывают погоду в этом месте точнее, но сами приложения уступают вашему по реализации и качеству.

This place is often warmer than you indicated. In this place, a large number of trees grow such as figs and pomegranates, but the accuracy of this area you have a low temperature, and often indicated as a cold place.
If you can pay more attention to this foothills, and make a forecast for it more accurate.
As you can see, some other applications show the weather in this place more accurately, but the applications themselves are inferior to yours in implementation and quality.
