By resolution A/RES/47/225 of 8 April 1993, the General Assembly decided to admit as a Member of the United Nations the State being provisionally referred to for all purposes within the United Nations as "The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia"
You are absolutely correct. The General Assembly decided to admit as a Member of the United Nations the State being provisionally referred to for all purposes within the United Nations as "The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia"
Thank you for your confirmation.
So gentleman (and women), you now have a definitive reply regarding the positions of both Windy as well as OpenStreetMap on this type of situation so I hope that this is the end of the matter on this forum.
I understand that this remains a contentious issue from different perspectives, but Windy is primarily a weather site, so once again let's leave political topics out of the Windy forum please and focus on the discussion of weather.
Windy also does not wish to be a battleground for these type of disputes.
Further discussion of these type of issues should be directed to the OpenStreetMap Forum here: https://forum.openstreetmap.org/index.php > scroll down & select > users: (the relevant country for your dispute and/or question)
I would like to thank you for a wonderful app! But I have indicated a place that interests me, and where the accuracy of your forecast is always low. It's foothills. This place is often warmer than you indicated. In this place, a large number of trees grow such as figs and pomegranates, but the accuracy of this area you have a low temperature, and often indicated as a cold place.
If you can pay more attention to this foothills, and make a forecast for it more accurate.
As you can see, some other applications show the weather in this place more accurately, but the applications themselves are inferior to yours in implementation and quality.
Thank you very much for your work!
Hello! I'm Vladimir.
Correct the name of the village, please. Russia, Khabarovsk Krai, village Бичевая (not Бич(ё)вая).
Thank you for your post. Unfortunately the place names are not controlled by Windy.
Please see the following posts about how the map data for Windy is sourced and displayed from www.openstreetmap.org:
Please also note: For every language, a different place name label can be displayed, so please choose your correct language and data display.
Further discussion of place name and language issues or disputes should be directed to the OpenStreetMap Forum here: https://forum.openstreetmap.org/index.php > scroll down & select > users: (the relevant country for your dispute and/or question)
In the case of a political dispute please leave such topics out of the Windy forum and instead focus on the discussion of weather.
Thank you :)
Hi. 3D model
is still avaible?
I took my family on asauling yacht from Norway to the Carabean and back again. I used only Windy as my weather planning tool (apart from Atlantic crossing where Satelite phone transfers forced me to choose another supplier).
Fantastic tool, also in remote Edge and 3G areas.
@tomber42 What caused it? thanks
@starsone777 use search function please
I have a SUNBEAM 44 sailingyacht und traveling in Croatien and happy About Windy.
I have a Question: How can I delate incorrectly entered placec?
I assume there is no relationship between windy.com and windy.app. The latter is running a hard-sell membership discount ranging from monthly $4.99, annually $19.99, or lifetime $59.99.
They claim to provide historical data, something that I know is vv important to a small portion of the windy community. They are also focused on rapid, simple answers to questions in the purchase space (many of which deal with accuracy.
Can anyone define for me the current status of this project relative to: (a) accuracy, (b) responsiveness, (c) ongoing efforts to improve and/or collaborate, and (d) historical data. I have seen suggestions about memberships for windy.com (that domain must have cost a fortune), but I see only 'donations.'
I strongly feel this is the right horse to back, with a great community. I'm willing to give the same amount here (perhaps many of us should). I do, however, want to understand any relationships between the 2 dominant apps -- esp when one of them is aggressively capitalizing.
Any comments appreciated.
Marc Vinson, Cleveland, OH
Which Windy mobile app do you mean? Is it this one?
As far as I know this app has no connection with windy.com.
The true app of windy.com shows the same logo as the website.
Windy.com and the app are free but you can donate to support them.
I am using a Windows laptop. When clicking on airports (I'm a pilot) all I see now is heliports. What am I doing wrong?

Could well be that they're on the same layer. Perhaps zoom out a little and only the main airports remain.

Dear Windy crew. May you consider implementing new colors for the wave prediction model? Today only large variations can be seen due to the very similar colors of the model. I am a surfer and often leave the app to consult other sites, due to the difficulty of filling. My suggestion is to implement the same traditionally colors used for WW models. Or, provide customizable palettes. O don't know If here is the right place to post It... please let me know.
