      Dear Ivo and Windyty team,

I'm Jorge Madden, professional sailboat racer, big boat captain, surfer, kiter... And I was a programmer my self back in the day before I gave it up completely to the outdoors :)

Windyty is so beautiful to watch and so helpful when planning long distance sailing travels "at first sight". It helps me understand what route to take from the beginning. You have been my main weather website to check during last year, where I sailed from San Francisco (California) to Panama and up to the Caribbean on S/Y Kialoa III. I love your distance measuring tools and I use them to plan my routes as it is much quicker than opening any of my navigation apps or my plotter.

Great job, keep it beautiful and simple. Thank you and I'm glad to see this was made by fellow wind lovers with such a great taste. I wish you steady breeze and perfect waves on warm waters!!! :)

        @ivo Windyty Rocks!
I am a glider pilot in Australia and I use Windyty all the time.
But now in winter we go wave flying and Windyty is the perfect tool for predicting wave formation!
        Thank you.

Would it be possible to add placemarks for places of interest so one could return to them at a later time? Very nice application and greatly appreciated. Thanks much.

              Hi Ivo,
Windyty.com is an AWESOME resource I use for sailing on the Pacific Coast of California. The distance measurements were a great addition. Would it be possible to save the route measurement on the screen and also be able to adjust the overlay for wind, waves, etc... and take new wind measurements?
At the moment, the distance ruler and the wind measurement cannot be manipulated simultaneously.

                Dear Ivo,
Upon reading your bio I had to look twice!
                First; my name is Ivo.
Second; I am also a Pilot. (Frmr Capt Swedish Air Ambulance )
Avid boater and kayaker so a good weather app is a must.
You made a great app Ivo!
I have used it since a friend linked a pointer in the right direction when I was sailing down in Croatia in June this year.
I was then trying to dodge the famous "Yugo" wind.
Hats of for a great weather app!
                Keep up the great Work!
                All the Best
                Ivo

I am looking for thermal meteorological data that I would like to be able to correlate with known meteorite atmospheric entry site areas of the atmosphere(determined by other means). I have looked many places but it occurred to me that windyty.com might know where I can look at thermal data across a big range of elevations/altitudes in a specific region of Earth, and mine thermal data(anomolies or localized spikes, specifically) collected over a given timeframe(hours? days?) across elevations from 80,000 feet AGL to ground level to a (probably relatively)high degree of resolution so as to determine trajectory and fragment descent/scatterfield area(s) of meteors and meteor showers via thermal signature, if even to a cursory and basic degree over a large area.

As an aside and complement to the creators and employees, windyty is by FAR the best site I have ever found for understanding weather

                          Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Thankyou for your service and I wish I knew how to support your site beyond complements!

I have bee participating in the beta testing and saw the tutorial today for the first time. It is not only user friendly, it was fun! Is there a way to access it again for sharing? Also, when will the app be updated for my iPad? I feel like the local weatherman now! Thank you for sharing your joy!

The app and the site is awesome! A friend introduced it to me while sailing around the coast of Newfoundland last year. I'm curious to know if it's possible to get the weather files to run the app off line when out of range from cell service or internet?

                                Bruce.

Great website Windytv. We in the tropical Fiji Islands quickly browse for Windytv to see weather-wind and rainfall from November to April every year during our tropical cyclone season. Produces excellant and reliable results. Thanks so much

Greetings Windytv team, your application is attractive and 90 % of your whether report as shown here is good. thanks for the same.

Dear windytv team, I am an Indian Citizen and i would be repeatedly interested in viewing the whether report of my country, I hereby bring to your notice that you have marked my nation territorial boundary is false. Northern portion of Kashmir is part of India(my county) and there is no land connectivity to pakistan and china as shown in your application, although few parts of that location is illegally trespassed by the pakistan which be recaptured by our government shortly. You may refer google maps for proper territorial boundry of India. I request you to rectify the territorial boundry of my country and respect our nationalist feelings.

                                        regards
