I've found that the cloud-tops forecast is rarely accurate, and shows much lower than actual forecast.
For example the current cloud-tops forecast for KPDX is 6000

      • the Meteogram shows clouds up to 18,000
      • the plugin FlyXC soundings shows dew-point convergence up to 18K
      • NOAA NW Cloud forecast indicates tops up to FL300

Is there a plan to correct the cloud-tops forecast?

The cloud tops data in Windy is provided by the ECMWF model. I don't think Windy can convince ECMWF to change their computation.

In the Windy FAQ it is said that “ Cloud tops height is the altitude of the cloud peak “.
It is only the top of convective clouds above earth surface (agl).

More details by ECMWF confluence wiki:

The ICON model displays also a Cloud tops layer. Have you looked at it ?
