How to remove favorites?

How to remove fronm the list of my favorites?

In your list of Favorites click the small bin

Although I've removed them from the designated bar, they continue to appear beneath the search bar.

These are the locations that you have searched in the search bar. You cannot remove them. They are gradually replaced by new searches.
As shown by your screenshot, there are not only favorites as I see 2 location displayed by their coordinates.

@iaacco I use Chrome and I remove the favorites by deleting browsing history, including cookies. You will be logged out of Windy probably but once you log back in you will see the list of past searches that appears when you "Search location..." will be gone. Now you can start populating the list again!
