Wrong wind speed

Wind speed indicated north Georgia straight was 10 knots off. Sentry shoal buoy shows speeds of 24 knots, your app shows 14 knots. This put me in a dangerous position on the water. I can't trust this app any longer.

I guess you have only viewed the default weather model in Windy (ECMWF).
But there are other local models that you can select, such as the HRDPS from Meteorological Service of Canada.
Premium users have a feature called "Observation vs. Forecast.". It compares the forecast from the different weather models with the observation from a local weather station. Unfortunately the Sentry shoal weather buoy is not shown in Windy. So I take the weather station at Comox valley airport.
You see that yesterday the best forecast was from HRDPS model. So next time check this weather model too.
