Bumping this request. I am an atmospheric scientist at NASA and I use Windy regularly for planning research flights. A model forecast of boundary layer depth would be very useful for planning flight altitudes. Thanks for this great tool!

If you are referring to the boundary layer thickness, as soaring height potential, can the “Thermals” layer help you?
