Weather forecast above ground

Thank you for windy. Love using it. Perfect for surfing, yachting and wingfoiling. I recently started using it for pilot stuff and found it confusing. If I pick a point on a map, I see a wind speed and a wind direction. In addition, I can see that it will change if I change the altitude, which is great!. But it's confusing that if I open a full forecast on this point, it will still show me the ground level one. Maybe I'm missing something?
