Location "wind"-tab forecast does not depend on altitude of location
-
When choosing the forecast "wind"-tab for any given (land, not sea) location, the directional arrows comparing the different forecast models, seem to display the forecasted wind speed at 0 MASL elevation for that location, even though the location is a mountain peak.
Hence, I have to use the "airgram"-tab and manually translate elevation of location to atmospheric pressure (HPa) to obtain knowlegde of the forecasted wind at the mountain peak. The Altitude-slider does not effect the
This seem to be a bug, since the forecast tab provides the geographical elevation under the "about the location" info.
Example: "wind tab" should display winds for location 933 MASL, but displayed numbers are for 0 MASL.
Wind speed at 0 MASL:
Wind speed at 900 MASL:

When you select a location in mountain and the Altitude slider is set to Surface, that means you get the wind forecast in this location, in your example at 931m. It is not the wind speed at 0m asl (above sea level), it is the wind speed forecast at ground level.
If you use Airgram wind speed and temperature are those predicted in free atmosphere, i.e. not at ground level.
