Weather forecast doesn't match map for rain

I don't know if this is a bug, but I often find that rain on the weather forecast doesn't match what that same model shows on the map for rain. Right now I'm looking at the GFS model, and it shows sunny skies at 8 PM tonight for the forecast. However, if I look at the rain map for 8 PM tonight, the GFS model shows rain all throughout the area with full clouds.

You don't say where you are seeing these differences and whether you are using the browser version or the mobile app. So, it's not easy to check these issues.
A screenshot would be helpful.
