How to get rid of “Reels” on home screen

Could you please advise me on how to get rid of those annoying “Reels” that appeared on the home screen after the latest update? Thank you.

@idefix37 Thanks for the reply. Yes, that's it. It really bothers me. Before the update, it was possible to hide it, but now I haven’t found a way to get rid of it. Windy is my favorite weather app and I pay for Premium, mainly because it is/was free of social media and ads.

As far as I know the only way to remove them is to click on your screen. But this does prevent to see them again next time. -
@idefix37 Okay, could this feedback be passed on to the developers? Maybe they could do something about it. I might not be the only one who finds it annoying.… Thank you.

@windy-nr5le Hello, we released Stories in Windy a few days ago and we still monitor the general feedback about this feature. Also there is still limited access to this feature and it is not released for all countries.
We are open to any changes and adjustments in the future, but please be patient about these.
