Hy. Garmin bought Navionics… and it destroyed it.

I will never buy a Garmin product! And like me I think thousands of boaters.

Why don’t you increase Windy, with an extra cost, offering what Navionics was offering… brfore Garmin?

There is C-Map, but at the end it is even worse than the actual Navionics: so, for us boaters, no solution as long as Garmin is concentrated in destoying Navionics: there must be also an extra bug that consumes the battery in a few hours.

Hou did an incredible job with Windy, so you have all the skills inhouse to enlarge the service to boaters: I would be more than happy to help, obviously at zero cost for you.

I am Francesco Illy, I think you can find my data as a subscriber, my email begins with illy@...ch

      Thank you for your attention,

      Francesco (fan of Windy)

@illy-Francesco Hello, thank you for your suggestion. Currently, we don't provide such services, but we are open to considering it for further development. Firstly, we would need to see a stronger community voice of boaters. Thank you and have a nice day, Niki

@Nicole-Dolezalova yes, I am also moving away from Navionics. I recently started to use Orca app (getorca.com), but map coverage is not as good.

I recently subscribed to windy.com primarily for fishing and kayaking information.
I believe Windy.com is already very popular with the sailing community.
I suspect that additional charting features would be well received by boaters and provide an opportunity to broaden appeal.
