I am preparing to purchase an annual Windy Premium subscription for my company in Japan. Under Japan’s Qualified Invoice System (適格請求書等保存方式), I need to obtain your Qualified Invoice Issuer number (適格請求書発行事業者番号, “T-number”) in order to comply with local tax regulations and claim input tax credits.

Could you please let me know:

Whether Windy (or your payment processor Bright Market, LLC/FastSpring) is registered as a Qualified Invoice Issuer in Japan?

If so, could you provide the registration number to be printed on my invoice?

If not, do you offer an alternative method to ensure the invoice fulfills Japanese invoicing requirements (for example, via an amended invoice from your payment processor)?

@Kodai-Hara Hello, we use three different payment processors, Paddle, Google Play and AppStore and so this is rather question for them. However, we don't have any cases that users from Japan have any troubles with getting our Premium via these platforms.

          Hello Suty,

Thank you very much for your clear explanation. I understand now that the invoice issuer is the platform (e.g., Google Play, Paddle, or the App Store). I will reach out to them directly to obtain the Qualified Invoice Issuer number (T-number) and ensure our invoice meets Japan’s requirements.

Thank you again for your help!

          Best regards,
          Kodai Hara
