Im new here, and still learning my way around the app. I am not currently a premium user, so just basic for now, but I am curious if there is a way to track possible tornadic activity, or is there anywhere in the app that shows historic events, no more than a few days old at most.

You can track live all the hurricanes under the Hurricane Tracker layer. Unfortunately, you can't view any historic events with a free account, and you will need to be a Premium member to access storms in the archives of radar or satellite data.
