Inconsistent forecast models

Good morning team,
I am relying on a paid for version of the app.
Having checked forecasts we depart our Anchorage and head to next destinations based on the information supplied.I have consistently and including right now as writing this while crossing a bay on the south coast of Italy have incorrect forecasts..
I have the current forecast from all models showing a wind direction of NW (ish).
However and again as usual I find that the ACTUAL direction at this point is NE (ish) which is current direction this sail boat wishes to take to avoid a forecast bigger blow the following day.
Don't know how to add the picture for this instance, but I am consistently disheartened by the lack of true data at a current point in time.
Is this that is something that will be taken into account from the existing base stations and any future units.
