I was really excited about recent Windy update news, even more with app for Garmin watches.

I have checked in Connect IQ app, but it did not find "windy" app.
I have Garmin Quatix 5 app that I use for sail races and would be great to also have weather info on the watch.

      Regards,
      Luka

I found link in Windy app on Android and it seems Quatix 5 watch is not supported?
What is the reason, this watch is not supported?
It is very unfortunate as many sailors use Quatix watches and would appreciate windy weather info on their watch.

@Lure Unfortunately, only Quatix 6 and newer are supported. Usually, we can talk about the low HW requirements.

@Suty I was also crestfallen to find my old instinct s2 solar surf edition is not supported 😫. Any chance this will ever be available?

@lJoublanc Usually, these models have limited memory or any other HW specification. We cannot do much with these models. In general, our colleague did a great hob to optimize all data for supported devices, since Garmin devices are not that powerful regarding to the HW spec.
