      I have a little feedback.

I use Windy a lot for predicting the surf forecast in my area in northern Portugal. I’m also a commercial pilot based out of Porto.

I use Windy for pretty much everything whether related. It really is truly breathtaking what you guys have created. Thank you so much.

What would be amazing would be to be able to have a widget which can show the wave forecast. So that I can just look at my home screen and immediately see what the waves are like for the coming days along with the tide.

On the same theme as this, it would be amazing if when I opened the Windy app, it could have a default forecast that it would go to. For example, the meteogram, or the waves page.

      Thanks team!!
      George

I agree with George. Windy is my favorite website and improved wave models would be great. There is a huge opportunity for Windy, as the US Navy public wave models (https://www.fnmoc.navy.mil/) have been down since the end of last year and it is not obvious that it will be coming back. This was the best site for wave prediction, far superior to other wave models. What I would like to see:

        • Similar heat maps as FNMOC

        • Separate views for peak period, wave height and energy, similar display as current Windy wind maps.

        • 3hour intervals

        • Great circle lines

        Thanks,
        August

          Hello,
At least you can already draw Great Circles lines in Windy. They are used for the Route planner.
Right click on your mouse, select Distance&planning and add the way points you want.
