Along with forecasting. I am planning to buy API but not sure how shall I map it or place an automated alert with specific reference to flood or inundation.</p>

From the existing layers, I see only Rain accumulation to be useful; however, you would need much more complex and local data, usually provided by local hydrometeorological institutes, regarding all water bodies in the area.
