Windy not showing accurate radar in india

Hi fellow indians you have the same problem that I do when it's raining the radar is not showing that I have seen multiple time A lightning hitting the ground but it doesn't show on radar. to force windy improve the radar we should use

@Rs-Parjapati Hello, our primary source for Indian radar images is from India Meteorological Department (IMD) and we also use images from Rainviewer because data from IMD don't contain all radars and have quite frequent outages as well.
If you know any other sources that can be used, please share them with us.

I heard they are trying to expand weather station
I can give them some advice and try to talk to
Major mobile company like Vivo, samsung about making windy the default weather app instant of accu weather they can provide some accurate data and invest in windy. windy is a great weather app it can save lots of people lives from weather realated disasters if gotten

Hi @Rs-Parjapati, we are getting data from some of the radar sites directly from IMD (India Meteorology Department)

For which area do You find data inaccurate? Also as far as I know, there is no alternative to data from IMD. To my knowledge, nobody else is running weather radars in India. -

This is not an issue..windy use data that is available. They visualizes data..they don't produce them...

@Tomber42 I am saying the daya you get is a not accurate from imd try to talk with a about this issue when it's heavy raining the shoes light rain it is problematic

I see, Nagaur disctrict is quite close to the edge of current radar coverage:
So my guess there is no radar site that is nearby and thus distant radars "see" only clouds and precipitation that is higher and further away from ground.
You can check all available IMD radars on their web.
I'm afraid there isn't much we can do about it. -
