Wind speed Greenland

The last year the windspeed is way off on the forecast in Greenland. Especially in Nuuk. But also rest of the coast. Sometimes actually wind is almost double than on the forecast.

There has recently been a significant discrepancy between the wind forecasts from weather models and the wind speed reported by the Nuuk Airport weather station. Meteoblue model appears to be the less inaccurate over a one-week observation period. This model is only available in the detailed forecast table.
The "Observation vs. Forecast" feature requires the Premium subscription, but you can get the wind observed at Nuuk airport by ticking Reported wind.
