Windy's rain radar may stop forever

@stratosphere
yes, among many other providers -
@Filip_K super good news 😊on the other hand However, on another subject, I recently received a thunderstorm alert, everything works perfectly, but the rain alert is still nothing, and the description indicates that the alert notification is sent for any intensity: (☔️ Rain alerts Using real-time radar data, we detect short-term precipitation trends and alert you just before the rain starts, indicating the expected intensity. 🌧️) I recently requested that an intensity of 24 mm/h /45 dBz is required to receive an alert notification 🤔thanks

@stratosphere
AFAIK heavy rain alerts do not have intensity settings. Maybe You mean rain alert (that is based on forecast, not real-time radar data).
Could You send a screenshot of Your alert? -
@Filip_K No, actually I expressed myself badly. I meant that the Heavy Rain alert notification was received from an intensity of around 45 dBZ, but the explanatory information notice for the new version 46 Windy, downloaded recently, indicates that we can receive a notification at any intensity detected by the radar, but still nothing received?
-
@stratosphere
AFAIK, intensity threshold for Heavy Rain alert cannot be changed as is indeed set around 45 dBZ. -
@Filip_K OK, thanks, but we do receive an alert notification only in the event of heavy rain, is that right? And no other intensity detected by the radar.
-
@stratosphere
yes, thus the nameHeavy Rain -
@Filip_K Yes, but why is this description displayed? (Using real-time radar data, we detect short-term precipitation trends and alert you just before the rain starts, indicating the expected intensity. 🌧️

@stratosphere
If I understand it correctly, the alert will tell you how strong rain you can anticipate, but you can't set the threshold -
@Filip_K Okay, I understand better. It's only the intensity of heavy rain expected that will be displayed, but not in the case of light or moderate rain.
