Double tap to get correct wind vectors
-
This is an issue in Windy for iOS and Android, using "Display as: Wind".
In this mode, the selected location for the forecast is the center of a large ring. The different wind models are each represented by a label on the circumference of the ring; the label has the model name and wind strength. The position of the label on the ring presumably indicates wind direction.
If the user selects a new time in the forecast by tapping the data table, the labels on the ring move. However, they are sometimes indicate different wind directions and speeds from those in the table, even though they did move when the tap was made. A second tap is required (selecting the same time in the forecast) to make them move again, so they match the data in the table. This could be very hazardous. -
@SVWhitetail Hello, this should be solved in the new update, which is now tested and it is planned to release it this week.
