bug with numbers of "predicted weather"
-
hi, it's been weeks now i have noticed this bug i guess. if I move forward in time the colours of the temperature change but the numbers stay the same or are, in any case, not reflecting the colours. see screenshot

-
@spixx Hi, if you mean the smaller one (38 degrees), it is value from local station. Values under city names are connected to the timeline in our app.
-
@Suty
I actually have a question about this as well.
When you select "Forecasted weather" layer - my assumption is that it shows you those smaller ones (38deg) on all your favourites? And these should change with the timeline - numbers would change and also the little boxes colour? -
@Suty hi. i do not get it, sorry. the 38° value is related to a place i saved as favorite. But this is not the point here. It just looks like generally, when moving forward in timeline, the colour does not respect the values shown. strangely it seems to work with the numbers of my favorites but nor for all the rest. here you can see it more clearly. Bologna in my favorites shows 35° which correlates with the colour but bologna as pre-set place on the map shows 27°. it makes no sense...

This glitch has already been reported by a few users. Several days into the future, there is an incorrect correlation between the map and the temperatures displayed under the city name. It appears that these temperatures don't correctly update when scrolling through the timeline.

@Suty hi yes the problem is still there. i did no check the version on my phone but th bug also is there when i access via browser. please look at the screenshots below, it sometimes works, but mostly not...

-
@spixx Hello, I will come up with this on our todays meeting with colleagues from the dev team.
-
@Suty cool. the bug is still there i just saw... hope you can fix it. regards
-
@spixx Hello, the problem should be fixed at this moment. Do you still experience this? Have a nice day, Niki

Your screenshot doesn't prove that the issue hasn't been resolved. You are displaying the forecast temperature under the cities and the temperature recorded by a weather station. You are confusing forecast with observation, and you don't indicate what date the screenshot is supposed to correspond to. If the date is 5 days out, it's not surprising that the forecast doesn't match the observations.
-
what is there to prove, we are not on trial here. it is just still not working on my end.The data which you referring to, i will highlight it in green, are places saved as my favourites. strangely their value changes when i scroll into the future..so if you ask me, they are not recorded temperatures. i am paying windy premium since many years now, i do not deserve to be threated like this just because you need some more information out of my screenshots - i can deliver as many as you want because the bug is still there.

-
this is without any favourites whatsoever. forecasted temperatures like 26 degrees should be in like dark yellow/light orange but the area is read (and i am sure that is the correct forecast, the numbers are wrong)

here is a video, please look at madrid

-
@Suty @Nicole-Dolezalova I am having the same issue. The displayed city temps on the map do not match the forecast as you can see. I have noticed that this happens most when the forecast is father out into the future. I've only seen this issue on ECMWF and HRRR so far.

-
@Wil-Collier Hello, I will check the situation. Thank you for reporting. To be sure about it, do you use the web app in the browser, correct?
-
the issue is still there, have a look at Rome or Madrid...

-
2 months and a half later the issue is still there... does really no one want to address it?
