      Hi,
Since Monday the wind forecast for Corsica and Sardinia are completely wrong and no update when the wind has changed: for example in the afternoon in the past few days the wind was south easterly but on the app was west.
      Thanks for your time

      Claudio

Hi, I don’t know how you get these south easterly winds. There is high pressure on west of France and low pressure on Ligurian coast which gives mostly W or NW winds during last days.
Checking the wind report at the weather station of Alghero airport on Sardinia coast and the forecast at same date, this station was showing W or NW wind during the afternoon like all models.
But as you don’t say where precisely you observed SE wind, it could be due the the relief of these mountainous islands, particularly on the east coast.

You should also specify the location where you observed this anomaly. Do you mean in general in Sardinia, or in a specific place? Sardinia has a complex orography, so winds can vary significantly even just a few kilometers apart.
