Is there a way to download a time period from last week to show what the wind was doing in my area?

Yes, there is a way to find out the last week wind.
Choose a weather station near your location by clicking Reported wind in POIs.
Scroll through the timeline to get the reported wind per time step.

Select if possible an official weather station, on airport or WMO certified.

Ah, thanks! I found this quite by chance a year or so ago (to give evidence to an insurance company of uncharacteristically high wind and gusts) but had been battling to find it again. Appreciated.
