Windy app for MacOS, can't log in

I have a Windy premium account, and just installed the Windy app on my Mac desktop computer. When I try to log in to the app, it asks for and email and password, but doesn't recognize the email/pass that I have in my web profile (where I usually log in with a username/pass).
If I try to 'reset password' from the app, and enter my web-account email address, I get an error "Email is not registered".
How can I fix this? I'd love to use the desktop app.

@zinkosaurus Hello, I see that this your account is under email sur******da@gmail.com and it is a Premium one. Can you please tell use what exactly ou get in the app? Screenshot would be perfect.

Here is the error when I enter that email and my web password:

If I click "forgot password", and enter that email, I get an error that "Email is not registered."

@zinkosaurus Hello, you mixed two different apps with similar name. We are Windy.com with the red logo. Any other app has nothing in common with us.

I just checked after seeing this thread, and the App Store on my MacBook says the Windy app is not compatible. @zinkosaurus It does seem you installed a different app, not an app for Windy.com.

@Suty -- ah, thank you. I didn't notice that there's an extra ".app" in the title -- what I was trying to use was Windy.app. Thanks for the clarification!
