Default Forecast Model - How

Crucial functionality but where.
Driving me mad continuously reverting back to probably the least accurate model. eg select location and switch from ECMWF to ICON-D2 then switch to rain radar, back to previous location and it's reverted to ECMWF.
About to go premium when I noticed what was happening and it's maddening. Won't go premium (expensive) with such a shortcoming.
And can't be hard to fix, even add default forecast to saved locations would be better (given models have geographic limits). Or even a list of model priority - lust all available forecasts for anywhere and user sets priority on each and on new location/move Windy uses highest priority available forecasts.
Current system - app will be off my phone soon and not paying for such frustrating limited s/w.

@psamathe-net Hello, I suggest you to use mobile widgets for quick view at radar or satellite and global models for forecasts.
In addition - Start-up layer and location settings in the app, where you can set "Use last overlay" allow you to show up the forecast model you want the most with location and zoom. It is important to be logged in inside the app. Have a nice day, NikiNiki

@Nicole-Dolezalova That is a terrible way to have to use the app. To switch eg forecast to radar back to forecast you have to keep switching back to the home screen widgets. Into Windy, back to home screen back to Windy, back to home, back to Windy ...
All Windy has to do is allow users to set a default forecast model. Usability with your suggestion is ... unusable (due to all the back and forth large number of screen taps to achieve something other apps do).
It's an expensive subscription yet missing major features in the app to access it. Me not impressed at the moment.

Can anyone please explain me what is this circle? First I thought it was limit of weather radar, but once I zoomed out map there were no other circles like that in Europe.

@UltragigamegaSEGA I think it's a radar question. This thread is about setting default forecast model nothing to do with radar. Maybe delete your post and start a separate thread?

For my location keeps reverting to ECMWF probably the least accurate for the area.
Can't set to"last overlay" as I keep switching between rainfall radar/reflectivity and forecast "Last layer"is often rain radar so switch to forecast and ... reverts to worst of those covering the area. Complete madness and why no solution after frequently raised by others yet no recognition of user needs. Makes one wonder about the developer and what is a high subscription.
As it stands not an app I can use. There are cheaper alternatives that so work (but needing two apps but combined cost cheaper).
