@selverob I appreciate the update on the radar outage in China and India. Was the partner's discontinuation of data provisioning a surprise to the Windy team? I would have expected some lead time from the partner on this. Could you elaborate on this a bit when time allows.

radar is not available in China mainland since Aug 5,2025

8th of august, China still not covered by radar. Actually very bad weather in HK. I paid for accurate radar prediction for my business ( sailing tour) . Safety concerns. When the radar coverage will be back? Thanks for the team effort !

Radar coverage for China has been partially restored. We are working on bringing the rest of data back as well.

Hi @he2682268, You mean reason for previous outage? As mentioned in the first post, our radar data provider stopped processing and providing data for China.
We are currently sourcing the data directly from NMC, so no further outages should occur.

@Filip_K Hello thx for you guys' hard working. I hope there is only IT tech issue, and no issue with Chinese administrative code or law issue, otherwise it could be annoyed.
