Radar Data Outage in Mainland China and parts of India

Hi, is it somehting happen that cause no data in China in these few days? (2025-8-1 / 2025-8-4).

@William-Guo Hello, unfortunately, in China, we are facing roadblocks due to governmental content filtering software which is errorneously blocking a large part of our services. We are working around it, but it brings large amounts of network latency with it. We are sorry about it, but there is little we can do.

@wendyfields Hi, we are working on fixing this issue, it should be fixed within at most a few days, the hope is that it will be today (Central European time).

We are on the path to fetching Chinese radar data from another source. It should be done within at most a few days, hopefully it could be in the next 24 hours.

We are in Chinese mainland. If using a VPN can solve the network loading issue, then it's not a problem. However, satellite cloud images and weather radar do need to be addressed urgently, especially weather radar data—there is currently a blank in Chinese mainland. My work is in great need of support from weather radar. -
@selverob Thank you for your efforts and attitude in solving the problem. Radar is too important to me and I hope it can be fixed as soon as possible

I believe windy.com use Rain Viewer as a source. Rain Viewer stop Single Radar Data API (which contains a processed weather radar files) since August 1st, 2025:

About several(3-7) days ago, the weather radar page began lost signals in China and show gray in PRC Region. Any problem there?
