<![CDATA[Showing daylight/night time on distance and planning]]>Hi there. I don't know if this has been mentioned or suggested before, but it would be great if you could modify the distance and planning display to show civil twilight/sunrise/sunset? I use this a lot for route planning and looking to see how the wind and waves will look over the course of a sailing trip. Most of these are longer trips, often across two or three days. It would be great to see what parts of the trip will be at night and what parts will be during the day. A simpler change might be to alter the icon for sunshine and show the phase of the moon instead.

As a minor tweak, it would be great if it always defaulted to "boat" and a speed of 5 knots, as by default it always shows "elevation". That's a minor comment though as it's not hard to select "boat" and then input my cruising speed. Thanks a million for a great site.

I meant to save it in my profile so that I would see the default as "boat" and "5 knots". Others would see whatever they normally selected. "Boat" and "12 knots"? Or IFR at "350".

It is a great idea.

Do you want this default setting to apply to all users of the Route planner?
I think aviators and other travelers will not appreciate this.
