For offshore location near New York the displayed time difference between LT and UTC = -5h. This is not correct. Local time in New York is EDT, UTC -4:

When selecting a location a few miles north (closer to shore), the time difference changes to -4, which is correct:

@Thialf-mate Hi, both times, or rather the time differences relative to UTC, are correct.
New York observes Eastern Standard Time (EST, UTC−5) and Eastern Daylight Time (EDT, UTC−4) in summer.
At sea, however, daylight saving time is not used; ships usually follow UTC. In practice, this means that within the coastal territorial waters, up to 12 nautical miles (14 mi, 22 km), the local time of the nearest land is applied, while on the open sea daylight saving time no longer applies.
        Have a nice day, Jari
