At the bottom, move the Compare out of the dropdown and to the right. I use it all the time.
Important! The picker for the forecast model stays open after you have selected a model covering the data below. See image.

@rick9004 So you would like to close this option with choosing the model, so it won't be necessary to close it with the cross?

@Suty YES, at least have it close as you suggest. The extra steps with this ribbon are a pain!!! The previous layout was far more efficient so I could keep the one hour forecast open while clicking through the models to get more detail on gusts and rain then is present in the compare layout. If there is some reason the new layout is supposed to work better for some other UI idea, is there an option for me to use the old better layout?
