Switching between weather models now takes 3 clicks

@idefix37 Switching was always possible, this topic was never about switching not working. It was about convenience.
As you showed model switcher work, and it always worked. Only thing before was that you can select location and switch model just with one click and see detailed forecasts at a location.
I am not sure why you say it stays opened.
For me this is not the case. Tested in chrome, it vanishes after few seconds when not focused with the mouse pointer. Unless there is some other way to pin it...

@zlatokoza
I have checked with Chrome and Safari on desktop.
Yes, with these browsers the windows of the model list do vanish.
But not on my iPad with Safari. -
@suty
How is it possible to explain this differences ?
What is the normal behavior of these windows ? -
@idefix37 If we talk about the model selection on the desktop, in the forecast detail, this is correct that it is automatically closed, but the mobile interface does this as well.

@Suty
I had checked and I double-checked these windows for model selection on my iPad (15.8.5).With the mobile app:
The pinned list of models stays open, but not on iPhone.
The list of models below the detailed forecast panel closes automatically.With the browser version
The list of models that you can open at bottom right corner of screen stay open.
The list of models below the detailed forecast panel stay open@zlatokoza
So I have deleted my previous post -

The list of models below the detailed forecast panel stay openReally? That is interesting. For me the list of models closes after a few seconds (Windy in Browser).

@Ftjwinfs
You are right. Now the list of models below the detailed forecast panel stay open only few seconds. -
@idefix37 Ok.
I find this really, really annoying. What do you think about this?
-
@Ftjwinfs
I would much prefer it to stay 3 seconds longer. -
@Ftjwinfs Unfortunately I think they will never change this. This thread has 14k plus views and going for a very long time, there is so much interest in having model picker sticky or at least always visible but devs just have some other reasons not to implement this.
I have made myself a javascript code which holds model opened in the browser indefinetely. Works fine but does not work ofc. in the mobile app.
Meanwhile I have canceled my premium subscriptions. I will not pay for something which makes me nervous while using it.
If you need a script for a browser you can use cgpt plus tempermonkey add-on.

Wow!!!
Do you like to share, how you did this via javascript or how specifically I can do this via an addon?
Regarding the response from Windy: I'm really fed up with their design decisions. They have dumbed down the tool a lot over the last years....

@Ftjwinfs sure, please ping me your email and I will share it with you.
