Units mixed, not showing my preferences as primary. Bug? Always been like this? Not consistent...

Noticed this today...don't recall if it was like this before, but it certainly stood out.
When I view something...examples below...the primary units displayed does not match my preferences. For example...if I selected imperial units for wind or elevation, they are show secondary...the primary being metric.
In the examples, you'll see the elevation show as "992m (3,255ft)"
