Route - Why can I not change the speed of the boat?

It used to be possible to change the speed of the boat once you had a route and had chosen to go by boat. Now only a speed of 12 knots is possible.

This used to be such a nice/neat feature and now it is useless.

From last update, the Speed switch is not visible.
See how to change the Speed to allow you using the Route planner.
