Localization Pin

Dear Windy-Team,
why doesnโt the localization pin show up when you are using the scrollable timeline at the bottom?
Thanks,

@wuppi73
Hello,
It depends on what device do you use. Is it a mobile with GPS positioning or it is a desktop/laptop ? -
Itโs my Iphone.
Maybe my words are a mit misleading:
Letโs make an example and chose a place where you are not, say New York e.g.The forecast is shown in the window below and you shut it with the โxโ in the upper right side.
In this this moment the pulsing circle which symbolizes NY on the map dissppears as well.

@wuppi73
Yes indeed. And why you would like that it stays visible on this town ? If you leave the detailed forecast why keeping this white pulsing point ?
If you want to keep this location displayed on the map because you need to check often the weather at this place you can save it as a Favorite. -
I guess we are not on the same boat ๐:
Iโd like to check the weather Radar with a specific overlay for that location. And as there is no marker โฆ I maybe can remember the position. But as soon as I am zooming into the map I am lost as there is no marker ๐

@wuppi73
I'm afraid there's only one way, and that is to bookmark it. You have to type the location into the search bar, then save it by clicking the little heart. Finally you have to display it by selecting "My favorites" from the menu. Not very fast ! -
Sorry for not giving up ๐ and to bother you once againโฆ.
Can I upload screenshots, here? Iโd like to show you what I meanโฆ I guess this would show it much better than my words ๐

@wuppi73
Yes you can upload a screenshot.

I got it, thanks ๐๐
