Hurricane Tracker missing NOAA data
-
In https://www.nhc.noaa.gov there is a disturbance:

but I do not see anything in Windy Premium:

The same thing occurred with Erin, a few weeks ago. Turned out NOAA provided valuable information giving us more time to prepare than Windy.
Is this a setting, if so where? Or is it a bug?

@MixieSTX
Disturbances are not displayed in the Hurricane tracker. Only from Tropical depression stage.
It is not a bug ! -
Thanks for the update, but this morning I was tracking Tropical Depression 12E and I did not see NHC data, just after few hours ..... even when the system had already become tropical storm Lorena

Lorena is displayed now

Look at @Héctor-11 screenshots. Lorena was already displayed 8 hours before your post.

As a Caribbean resident, may I suggest to also map the Disturbances from NOAA. Why?
- storms are now going from Disturbance to Depression to Hurricane within hours
- what looks like a hurricane 1 turns into a 5 in less and less time, last large ones in 24 hours.
- the strength and size of hurricanes seems to increase year after year.
Force of habit, we used to not do any extra preparation until it gets to Tropical Storm or Hurricane 1, because we know we have several days and the trajectory and width was somewhat predicatable.
Not anymore, looking at the cone in the image above, time to start bringing in anything likely to fly, etc.
Perhaps it could be an option setting for users in the usual hurricane corridor?
