Why do you use only three colours to depict the full temperature spectrum? It is not visually informative. For example: How can 21C be orange, when it's almost cool enough to wear a jacket? Very peculiar.

Windy doesn't use just three colors. Windy must cover a temperature range from -70°C to 50°C (-95°F to 120°F), so it needs a lot of colors. But temperature variations in your area may not be significant enough to display more colors than 3. However if you change the level in the atmosphere with the Altitude slider, you’ll see all the colors

Premium users can customise the colors of any layer in Windy, including temperature, but this is not possible for free users.
