Cannot change/update boat speed in distance planner
-
Hi there. I don't seem to be able to change boat speed when using the distance planner. This was working fine up until recently. Now when I move the mouse over the Speed: field (on a web browser), I get a circle with a line through it. It also seems to think the speed is zero or infinity, because before I could see how long the trip would take, now I just see an orange marker for my departure time, and the display shows wind conditions at the start time, rather than showing me the evolving wind conditions en route. I'm hoping to use the tool to do some route planning next week, and as it stands, I'm out of luck. I can't tell what the wind will be like at various waypoints, nor can I automatically tell how long the trip will take. I can get along without the second issue because I can just calculate it, but not knowing wind conditions en route is a problem. This is on Chrome on a Macbook and on a Linux (Ubuntu) desktop.

I went searching to see if someone else had reported this and didn't find anything. Then I post the bug and find that someone already had. Thanks for the workaround!

Good job! Yes, for now, it's enough to click on the "Speed" text. This bug will be fixed in the next version.
Many thanks.

@David-Polášek When it may be, the next version?

In the meantime you can now use the Route planner by clicking the non-visible toggle button just in front of the word "Speed".

@David-Polášek Distance planning do no work at all, no ETA time available

Could you share a screenshot, please? I cannot replicate any issue with ETA when I enter the average speed into the field.

@David-Polášek Thanks a lot, it is working

@Andy-7f
